Made in Hong Kong: How Blue Pin made check-ins smoother through innovation

Blue Pin, led by Dr. Gary Leung, is transforming the hospitality landscape in Hong Kong and beyond with its unique Guest Services Robot (GSR) hotel automation solution.

Participating in the Global Acceleration Academy (GAA) through HKSTP, Blue Pin submitted a proposal and was thrilled when Royal Plaza Hotel chose it from more than a hundred submissions. This led to the launch of a self-check-in solution in May 2021, addressing industry manpower shortages. Over two years, Blue Pin served over 25 hotels and expanded projects in Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia. As for the future, Blue Pin aims to make their mark in different countries across the globe, with plans to go public and launch an IPO in five years.
