Top 3 Award in Hong Kong X Foundation FYP + Supporting Scheme 2018-19

Dolphin project (supervised by Dr. Daniel Lun and Dr. Ivan Ho) won the top 3 award of Hong Kong X Foundation FYP+ Supporting Scheme 2018-2019.

There are 175 innovative technology projects (from all local universities – HKU, CUHK, PolyU, CityU, UST, BU etc) joined this open competition. The projects are related to different fields such as big health, material/energy/environment, robotics & smart hardware, big data & AI, design/AR/VR/filming/entertainment, cultural and creative, fin tech, new retail and smart building.

Judges are renowned industry reps, including Dr David Chung Wai-keung JP (Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, HKSAR), Mr Peter Mok (Head of Incubation Programme, HKSTP), Prof. Zexiang Li (HKUST) etc. Dolphin project was selected as one of the top 3 projects.
